Beautiful

I could say my mother was beautiful!

She never had her hair made colourful

Never used nail polish, lip stick or make up

Never had to shave unwanted body hair

Enjoying graceful eighties with normal wear and tear!

Now we hardly say with certainty one is beautiful

Rather half heartedly exclaimed ‘look beautiful’

Because the apparent look may be deceitful

Behind ornaments, garments, and expensive decoration!

Women are born beautiful

Until they are groomed into modern enslaving tools

With make ups, hair style-colour, shaving and birth control pills

Extended nails, false eye brows, wigs, implants and rouge

Making people doubtful whether someone is really beautiful!
